Energy Medicine in Animal Healing

The Body, Structure and Layers

We can observe the body in its physical or material form, which we examine using general methods: inspection, palpation, percussion (tapping), auscultation (listening), various laboratory methods, blood tests, stool samples, samples taken by puncture, etc., as well as X-ray, CT, ultrasound and other methods we’re familiar with.

However, the body also consists of more subtle layers that aren’t visible through the methods mentioned above. These are read and therapeutically addressed in other ways. We can observe the body’s energetics, as well as parts of systems—the energetics of the digestive system, metabolism, respiratory system and similar—or of individual organs: liver, heart, spleen, pancreas, etc.

Biotherapy and the Organism’s Energetics

To understand how bioenergy therapy works, you need to understand the concept mentioned above. This concept of observing the organism has been applied for many centuries in various predominantly so-called “Eastern” approaches. Although we find it in ancient civilizations of South America, indigenous peoples of the American continent, and indigenous populations of Australia and New Zealand, we Westerners are well familiar with Indian Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Homeopathy, so we’ll draw connections through them.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda and Its Principles | Ayurveda (translated from Sanskrit as “knowledge of life”) is an ancient Indian medical system that originated over 3,000 years ago. It’s based on the concept that health depends on a subtle balance between mind, body and spirit. The healing system is based on the use of herbal preparations, breathing techniques and balancing lifestyle habits according to constitutional type.
Constitutional Types in Ayurveda | constitutional type or dosha
According to the presence of elements (earth, water, fire, air, space) in our body, the constitutional type is determined

  • Vata (air and space)
  • Pitta (fire and water)
  • Kapha (earth and water)
  • and their combinations

All the mentioned approaches have in their operating principle an influence on the so-called energy flow—subtle energy that’s responsible for immunity, general condition and healing.

Today we have numerous clinical studies showing the effectiveness of acupuncture in treating various diseases and disorders in the organism. Studies on the effectiveness of homeopathy in humans and animals, studies on the influence of meditation on biochemistry (Dr. Joe Dispenza, more below).

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine | known records older than 2,000 years. Here too, the energy flow of life force called “Qi” and constitutional body types are mentioned. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, they’re classified into five elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. Each element is connected with specific organ systems and a specific personality or “constitution.” Each constitution can be predisposed to health problems. Therapeutic Methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • 'Acupuncture
  • Herbal Medicine
  • Massage (Tui-na)
  • Dietetics (nutrition therapy)

Acupuncture works by balancing the flow of Qi, or vital energy, along pathways known as meridians. When Qi becomes unbalanced or blocked, it leads to imbalance and disease. The goal of acupuncture is to restore the proper flow of Qi, establishing homeostasis in the body.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy doesn’t affect symptoms but rather the overall energetics of the organism, which displays a set of symptoms based on which an adequate preparation is selected.
Principle of Action of Homeopathic Preparation | the basic operating principle is “like cures like,” known since the time of Hippocrates, who first noticed that if you take a substance that causes certain symptoms in a healthy organism, that same substance can treat a disease that has similar or identical symptoms, and isn’t related to the plant from which the reaction or preparation originates.
Homeopathy fundamentally works on the “flow of vital/life energy” (thus the same phenomenon is mentioned as in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine), and this is achieved through the use of homeopathic preparations in various forms and strengths.

Bioenergy Therapy – Biotherapy and Bioenergetic Treatment

Just as through the ancient methods mentioned above we fundamentally try to influence the organism’s energetics, in bioenergetic treatment that same energy is stimulated through the therapist’s work by laying on of hands or at a distance. The foundation is understanding the principle of non-physical action—that is, energetic or subtle, or informational action—this is why distance therapies work or why, for example, group prayers are so powerful and can influence healing.

Demystifying Energy Medicine

Demystifying energy medicine – once pseudoscience, in today’s time through numerous studies and tests, the effect on the health of organisms in humans and animals has been proven.

For Those Who Want to Know More and Research This Topic More Deeply

Dr. Joe Dispenza and his team have invested great effort to conduct studies on a huge number of people who, through meditation, literally changed their biochemistry—so just through energy work, people reduced inflammation, balanced hormones, and the clinical picture or symptoms either disappeared or greatly improved.
